I help teens and adults who feel overwhelmed and controlled by their emotions find safety within themselves to grow capacity and confidence for change.
My practice is rooted in the understanding that the brain isn’t separate from the body—it’s a part of it. No matter how loud or convincing your thoughts are, they do not define you. Healing in my office often begins with noticing how you *experience* something rather than how you *think* about it. If you are great at identifying patterns but struggle to feel better, we might be a great fit!
Each client—and each part of your brain—responds best to different therapeutic approaches. I draw on research-backed methods to address your felt experience (nervous system responses), emotional experience (feelings), and cognitive experience (thoughts) for a lasting sense of well-being.
Some of my favorite modalities and theories include Somatic Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Narrative Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). In my clinical practice,
I focus on trauma recovery, anxiety, phobia, OCD, nervous system regulation, perfectionism, boundaries, and self-esteem. I also work with adult children of alcoholics and those dealing with addiction, as well as issues related to sex and sexuality, relationships, and grief.
I am collaborative and trauma-informed. I honor clients both as individuals and members of their communities.
