SMS Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the Verite Counseling SMS staff notification service (the "Program"). By opting in as a message recipient of the Program, you agree to these terms.

Program Description

The Program sends an automated text message to an opted-in staff member's mobile number each time a client checks in at our front desk. This is an operational/informational messaging program and is not used for marketing or promotional purposes.

How Enrollment Works

Staff members enroll in the Program individually, by completing and signing our SMS Staff Notification Opt-In Form. Enrollment requires your own explicit, affirmative consent — it is not automatic, and it is not a condition of your employment. You may decline to enroll, or opt out at any time, without any effect on your employment.

Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies based on scheduled appointments — typically fewer than 7 messages per business day for a full client caseload.

Opt-Out Instructions

Reply STOP to any message to immediately opt out of receiving further messages from the Program. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. You may re-enroll at any time by completing a new opt-in form.

Carriers

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Participating wireless carriers include, but are not limited to, AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and other major U.S. carriers. This Program is intended for use within the United States only.

Eligibility

The Program is intended for use by Verite Counseling staff members who are 18 years of age or older.

Changes to the Program

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Program, or these Terms, at any time. Continued participation in the Program after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

Privacy

Use of the Program is also governed by our SMS Privacy Policy, which describes how information collected through the Program is used and protected.
