This SMS Privacy Policy explains how Verite Counseling ("we," "us," "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with our SMS staff notification service (the "Program"). This Program sends automated text message notifications to Verite Counseling staff members when a client checks in at our front desk.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All other categories of information exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties for any purpose.

Information We Collect

In connection with the Program, we collect and process:

  • The mobile phone numbers of Verite Counseling staff members who have opted in to receive check-in notifications
  • The name entered by a client at the time of check-in
  • Message delivery status and timestamps, for troubleshooting and reliability purposes
  • Records of staff consent to the Program, including the signed opt-in form and date of consent

How We Use This Information

Information collected through the Program is used solely to deliver check-in notification text messages to the intended staff member. We do not use this information for advertising, marketing, or any purpose unrelated to operating the Program.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on scheduled appointments. For a full client caseload, staff typically receive fewer than 7 messages per business day. Message frequency may vary.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard messaging rates from your wireless carrier apply to any messages sent or received in connection with this Program.

Opt-Out

Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving messages from this Program. Reply HELP for help. For additional assistance, contact us using the information below.

Data Retention

We retain information collected through the Program only as long as necessary to operate the service. Detailed check-in history logging is disabled by default and only enabled if we choose to turn it on.

Data Security

We use industry-standard technical safeguards, including encrypted network transmission and encryption at rest, to protect information collected through the Program. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Service Providers

We use trusted third-party service providers to operate the Program on our behalf, including message delivery. These providers process information solely to deliver the Program and do not use it for their own marketing purposes.
