Meagan McDaniel

Graduate Intern

I feel called to help clients find their way through difficult life circumstances. Whether my clients find themselves overwhelmed by matters big or small, are feeling stuck, or need someone to turn to, I am here to help. I have a passion for helping people navigate grief and trauma. I also have a heart for helping others heal from complex or unhealthy relationship patterns, establish healthy boundaries, and regain trust in themselves and others.

I believe we are all capable of great things and can become the best versions of ourselves when we are supported and given the opportunity to properly process life events, and that it’s never too late to do so. In time, we may even find a way to distill meaning or purpose from the most difficult seasons of our lives. I know firsthand that it’s eventually possible to thrive after surviving tragic loss. It is my heart’s desire to help my clients reach their unique and personal goals and find fulfillment.

If you desire treatment that integrates your Christian faith, I would love to accommodate that. I am also prepared to not address faith in the work that we will do together, if that is what you prefer.

I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship. I approach each client individually, with compassion and without judgement. The therapy approaches I embrace include Existential theories, CBT, REBT, and Narrative Therapy. I believe in a Person-Centered approach for all clients as well.

I am currently pursuing a Master of Arts degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University.
