Kaitlyn Flores, Graduate Intern

Southwest Oklahoma State University

I strive to provide neurodiversity-affirming therapeutic interventions and want to help you live a more balanced, peaceful life. I believe in an integrative approach to counseling that is tailored to meet the needs of each individual and their desired therapeutic outcomes. I believe we must address the whole person, mind, body, and spirit for lasting change to take hold.

My areas of interest include working with neurodivergent young adults to foster growth, self-exploration, and healing. I also work with attachment issues, as well as general life adjustment issues

I strive to bring evidence-based approaches alongside creative interventions to bring the best therapeutic outcomes. I value somatic practices, as this encourages us to be grounded in our bodies, and empowers our nervous system to become increasingly regulated in a chaotic world. I am committed to walking alongside my clients on their journey toward healing, holding compassion and hope, while they work through life’s difficulties.
